Pot Roast Recipe

Ingredients
  • 32 ounces of beef broth
  • 5 pounds of pot roast
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 6 red potatoes – diced
  • 1 cup of carrots – chopped
  • 1 cup of zucchini – sliced
  • 1 small onion –  diced
  • Salt & pepper to taste
Directions
  1. Mix 1 cup of beef broth with flour, Worcestershire sauce, and butter.
  2. Place broth mixture, remaining beef broth, and pot roast into crock pot and cover with lid. Cook for 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low.
  3. Turn over pot roast. Place veggies into the crock pot and add some salt and pepper to your preference. I also added seasoning salt. Cook for either 1 hours on high or 2 hours on low.

French Bread Recipe (Bread Machine from Hamilton Beach)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 1/2 cups American bread flour OR 2 1/4 cups Canadian bread flour
  • 2 tbsp ground flax seed
  • 1 1/2 tsp bread machine yeast

Directions

Select setting according to your bread machine & enjoy a few hours later with your pot roast.
