My Secret to Organized & Stress-free Wedding Planning

Wedding planning is a huge undertaking, especially if you want to invite hundreds of people, have particular tastes, or enjoy DIY. Like any good MBA, I love spreadsheets. When it came time to plan my wedding, I knew my first step was to create one with many tabs and cross-references that was still easy to use and update.

If planning your wedding makes your head spin or the thought of a massive Excel sheet makes you wrinkle your eyebrows, I encourage you to look into the one I created for my wedding and am now selling on Etsy to help others. It is already laid out nicely and cells are cross-referenced when needed. All you have to do is fill in the cells with your information, whether it’s the guest list and addresses, ideas, or food choices.

Seriously, I would be so stressed and anxious if I didn’t use this wedding planner for everything. If you are an on-the-go type like me and have a Gmail account, you can add the spreadsheet to your Google Drive for instant access anywhere. This has proven helpful in addressing envelopes and meeting with vendors. I also have a physical binder filled with swatches, receipts, contracts, and ideas.

It will help you stay on track, make sure everything gets done, and help you think about all different areas of your wedding.

This wedding planner is a downloadable Excel file for you to easily update and make your own. I don’t like printable planners because they do not offer any flexibility to fit your life. Excel solves that problem by allowing you to do what you want! As always, I’m happy to answer any questions you have about it.
