Master Bedroom Before the Remodel
A few years ago, our Saint Bernard puppy was in our room during the day and we thought he was old enough and would be fine. We thought wrong. He chewed every piece of trim and door casing in our room and we had three doors. He also straight up chewed the panel wall.
You may have noticed I said panel wall. Gross right? Well we finally decided to remodel our room, which was totally livable, but not pretty. Below are the pictures before it was demo’d and rebuilt.
You can see our bedroom furniture was a little chewed up too. 🙁 Our dog, Sherman, in the photo is not the same dog who did this damage. Sherman hasn’t chewed anything.
We had a 36″ wide closet door, which is huge. The off center windows drive me crazy, but it’s too expensive to adjust them because we have a stucco exterior.
The dresser and TV take up a lot of room. Tyler has always wanted to get rid of it, but I love having a dresser.
Our good boy Sherman, and our past dog, Hank’s, chew marks.
The bathroom door casing is chewed up.
The standard, construction-grade boob light.
Bathroom door chew marks.
Closet chew marks and a peek into our closet.
This is straight up wall chewing. How is that even physically possible or desirable?
I filled it temporarily, but we didn’t have the same paint, so we left it this whole time. I know, ugly.
Our strangely configured closet with weird built-ins.
