Spinning

What a great calorie-burning work out! Every first Saturday of the month at my gym, they host a two-hour class. I realized this when I arrived and saw people were already spinning even though I was 5 minutes early. Today my calves are a bit sore from the ride and I’m glad I only did an hour for my first spin class in a long time.

For those who don’t know, spinning is a high-intensity, interval work out on stationary bikes. You can burn about 600 calories in an hour. I think I probably burned less than this because I wasn’t as intense as some of the other people in the room. It is so motivating to look around the room at everyone older than you spinning so fast and hard.

I want to be like them when I grow up!
